June 2011 - AUA CEO assesses the effects of Fukushima

The Australian Uranium Association CEO, Michael Angwin, gave the Keynote Address at the recent Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy 2011 International Uranium Conference in Perth, arguing that the fundamental reasons why many countries find nuclear energy to be a compelling electricity source remain in place, largely unaffected by the Fukushima emergency. He argues that Australia needs once again to look at nuclear energy as a potential component of a balanced energy portfolio.
