ASX-listed Alliance Resources Ltd, in partnership with Heathgate Resources affiliate, Quasar Resources, is developing the Four Mile deposit in South Australia. The Four Mile Joint Venture Area is located 550 kilometres north of Adelaide.

Areva NC Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian uranium exploration subsidiary of the integrated French nuclear fuel production, power generation, transmission and distribution company, AREVA.

Cameco Australia Pty Ltd, the Australian subsidiary of the large Canadian integrated nuclear energy company, Cameco Corporation. Cameco is involved in two Australian joint ventures =- with Mitsubishi Development Ltd at the large Kintyre deposit in Western Australia and with Paladin Energy at the Angela Pamela deposit near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

Mega Uranium Ltd  is a Canadian-owned company which is partnered with Japanese companies in the development of the Lake Maitland project in the East Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd is the Australian off-shoot of the large Japanese conglomerate. It is partnered with Cameco Australia in the large Kintyre project in Western Australia.

Paladin Energy Ltd is a large, ASX-listed uranium explorer and miner with significant operations in Africa and with prospects and joint ventures in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland.

Summit Resources is an ASX listed corporation focussed on uranium exploration and mine development in the Mt Isa region of northwest Queensland.

Toro Energy is an ASX-listed exploration and mine development company with interests in Western Australia and the Northern Territory and in Namibia, Africa.

UraniumOne Australia Pty Ltd is a Canadian owned company that is developing the Honeymoon project in South Australia in partnership with the energy offshoot of large Japanese trading house, Mitsui Limited. Honeymoon is expected to begin production in 2010.

Arafura Resources Ltd is focused on the Nolans Project in the Northern Territory, a large, long-life phosphate-hosted rare earths uranium project.

Cauldron Energy Ltd is the product of the merger of Scimitar Resources Ltd and Jackson Minerals Ltd. The company has a suite of uranium projects in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia and in Argentina.

Crossland Uranium Mines Ltd (CUX) is an ASX-listed exploration company focussed on uranium prospects in the Northern Territory and South Australia.

Crusader Resources Ltd. is an ASX-listed explorer focused on the Lake Throssell project, 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

Deep Yellow Ltd is an ASX-listed explorer with interests in several Australian States and Territories and in Namibia, Africa.

Listed on the ASX, Encounter Resources Ltd.  focuses on the development or uranium and base metals prospects in Western Australia.

Energy and Minerals Australia Ltd. is focused on developing prospects northeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, including the significant Mulga Rocks deposit. The company is listed on the ASX.

Energy Metals Ltd. (ASX: EME) has eight projects in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Extract Resources primary business focus is in the African nation of Namibia, in which it has a large land position of 2653km2 over several licenses. While the projects have various mineral occurrences, Extract's main objective is based around the potential of the uranium (U3O8) rich provinces in Namibia, particularly within the alaskite belt that hosts the world class Rossing Mine.

Canadian-owned Laramide Resources Ltd is focused on the advancement of its flagship asset, the Westmoreland Uranium Project in Queensland.

Manhattan Corporation (ASX: MHC) is concentrating on proving up and developing the substantial Double 8 uranium resource near Ponton in Western Australia.

Marathon Resources Ltd  is an Adelaide-based listed minerals exploration company focused on the development of Mt Gee, in the Flinders Ranges region of South Australia.

NuPower Resources Ltd. (ASX: NUP)  focuses on uranium tenements in the Northern Territory.

Sinosteel PepinNini Ltd  is developing the Crocker Well project in South Australia.

Southern Uranium Limited has prospects in South Australia, the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland.

Territory Uranium is a junior explorer active in the Northern Territory. The company holds a total of 40 tenements (21 granted and 19 applications) covering more than 26,300km² , focussing on uranium but also seeking nickel, gold and base metals. 

Thundelarra Exploration (ASX: THX) is a uranium explorer and project developer in the Northern Territory, where it holds more than 6000 sq kms of tenements in the Pine Creek and Ngalia Basin uranium provinces.

Uranex NL is a Melbourne-based, ASX-listed uranium exploration which hopes to be Tanzania’s first uranium miner and which, in Australia, is working on the Thatcher Soak prospect in Western Australia.
